By Fresh reports reaching BlackBox Nigeria at this moment confirms that the Ikorodu community is about to have its annual Oro festival.
According to information shared by Mr Abiodun Olajide Akinola, a legal practitioner who resides in the area, the activity is set to hold on Saturday, May 13th.
The scheduled festival is coming up despite calls by some traders earlier this year urging the for the reform of the festival. Trading activities are usually on lockdown throughout the festival.
Warnings have since been sent out to residents in Ikorodu area, especially women and visitors to be cautious of their movement during the festival.
Akinola also used the moment to advise all to pass the message across to all living in the vicinity.
