The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will decide on cases of malpractice and irregularities recorded during the 2023’s West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) today.
The examination body announced the development in a tweet via its X account earlier on Tuesday.
According to WAEC, “The 76th Meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) to consider & decide on the malpractice/irregularity cases arising from the conduct of WASSCE for School Candidates, 2023 begins today.”
It would be recalled that WAEC had released this year’s WASSCE results in August but the release of 262,803 results was withheld because of suspected examination malpractice.
Similarly, WAEC recently appointed Dr. Amos Dangut as its new Head of National Office (HNO).
