By Unknown Gunmen Kidnap Ikeja LGA Clerk In Ikorodu
Report reaching BBN has it that the Ikeja Local Government Clerk, Shamsideen Abiodun Omotayo has been kidnapped. This incident is coming barely 24hours after Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Chairman escaped a kidnap attempt carried out by fake journalists àt the secretariat.
Mr Omotayo according to the report was kidnapped this morning at Imota area of Ikorodu, Lagos state on his way to work.
Confirming the report is the spokesman for Ikeja Local Government Area, Mr Bello Onilegbale. Onilegbale in his word said the kidnappers have contacted the council’s Head of Administration, Mrs. Mosunmola Otaiku-Okoka. He disclosed that the kidnappers have demanded N20 million as ransom.
Effort to rescue Omotayo is ongoing as confirmed by the spokesman of Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Afolabi Olawale as the case has been reported to the appropriate quarters and search teams has been deployed.
