By The Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos Prof Toyin Ogundipe has attracted the donation of robots to the university.
The robots were donated by Platform Capital, a global investment firm.
He did this in Line With His Vision For The University Of Lagos in the Areas Of Artificial Intelligence, Service delivery and the Curbing of Covid 19 Spread.
The donated Robots are meant to be used in designated areas like the University Library, The Senate Building, The University Business School etc.
The robots are able to facilitate Direction to Visitors, take Temperature, store data, interact with students in the Library etc.
This is the first of its kind in any Nigerian University and Sub-Saharan Africa.
