Suella Braverman has been forced to resign as UK home secretary, by Liz Truss hours after being jeered in U.K Parliament.
Braverman, a leading rightwinger, was sacked by the prime minister because she sent an official document from her email to a fellow MP, in a serious breach of ministerial rules and security protocols.
The prime minister had sacked Ms Braverman, who had only been in the job for five weeks.
Meanwhile, Grant Shapps has replaced Suella Braverman as home secretary, six weeks after being fired as transport secretary by Liz Truss.
However, Braverman’s departure is a serious blow to Truss’s authority, coming as a growing number of Tory MPs.
