Mesut Ozil, a former Arsenal playmaker, has praised Harry Maguire and Andre Onana.
This is coming after the duo’s heroics in Manchester United’s Champions League 1-0 win against Copenhagen on Tuesday
It was learnt that Man United clinched their first win of their Champions League campaign on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.
It was a lackluster performance from the Red Devils against Copenhagen but Maguire and Onana came to the fore.
Reacting, Ozil, in a tweet via his personal X account after the game, said that both Onana and Maguire, who have been heavily criticized in recent months, have silenced their haters with their impressive displays.
Ozil said, “Harry Maguire & Andre Onana deserve that – silencing their haters.”
