Two Active COVID19 Patients Escape From Oyo State Isolation Centre
Updates from the Oyo State Government has it that two patients infected with COVID19 have absconded from one of the State’s isolation centre.
While giving coronavirus updates in the State, Governor Seyi Makinde disclosed that five results returned positive on Tuesday. He noted that out of them, four were travellers from the Northern part of the country while the fifth is a resident of the State.
He also revealed that two of the active cases been managed by the State has absconded from the isolation centre and might have returned to their places of resident.
He said, “Of the 33 active cases being managed by the state, two have absconded, possibly to their permanent places of residence. This brings the number of active cases in Oyo State to 31.”
