U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that the United States could launch fresh military strikes against Iran if ongoing diplomatic talks in pakistan fail to yield an agreement.

In an interview with the New York Post on Friday, Trump revealed that American warships are being rearmed with advanced weaponry in preparation for possible action.

He said the military is being equipped with “the best ammunition” and “the best weapons ever made,” suggesting a readiness to escalate if negotiations break down.

“We have a reset going,” Trump said, adding that the weapons being deployed surpass those used in previous operations.

“If we don’t have a deal, we will be using them, and we will be using them very effectively.”

Earlier in the day, Trump posted a brief and cryptic message on his Truth Social platform, describing the situation as the “world’s most powerful reset.”

Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President JD Vance arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan, to lead the American delegation in the latest round of talks with Iranian officials.

Ahead of the discussions, Vance issued a stern warning to Tehran, cautioning against attempts to undermine the negotiations.

The outcome of the talks is expected to play a critical role in determining whether tensions between both countries escalate or move toward diplomatic resolution.
