There are more troubled waters for embattled National Legal Adviser of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Barrister Muiz Banire (SAN) as he has now been dragged before Justice Ibrahim Bubba of Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
BlackBox Nigeria learnt that the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assemble, Hon. Wasiu Eshinlokun Sanni is urging the court to expel Banire over what he described as forgery and anti-party activities. In a suit file on behalf of Sanni and two others by Barrister Wahab Shittu, Muiz Banire is accused to have committed forgery against the first plaintiff.
Sanni told the court that Banire “orchestrated forgery by facilitating the use of false document by the Independent National Electoral Commission.”
It was alleged that between December 2014 and January 2015, Muiz Banire foŕged a document stating that Sanni was withdrawing from the race to the House of Assembly and substituted his name with a certain Hakeem Masha who came second during the primary election.
