Popular Nigerian actor and movie director producer, Azeez Ololade Ijaduade has reportedly been shot by a trigger-happy policeman in Iperu, Ogun State.
The incident, which was revealed by Abiodun Adebanjo, Ijaduade’s colleague, happened very late on Saturday.
Adebanjo, who posted on his Instagram story, @iamabiodunadebanjo, around 12pm, said that his colleague was shot by a Nigerian Police.
He wrote, “Please we need help in Iperu. My director, Azeez Ijaduade, @kingzeez1, was shot by a Nigeria Police personnel.
Giving further details, he said Ijaduade is currently battling for his life at the Babcock University Teaching Hospital.
“Please, we need help,” he added.
More details surrounding the incident still remain sketchy.
According to PUNCH, calls put through to the Ogun State Police PPRO, Omolola Odutola, did not go through in the early hours of Sunday.
