TRIBUTES AS CHIEF PRESS SECRETARY TO AMUWO ODOFIN LGA CHAIRMAN DIES IN GHASTLY ACCIDENT
The office of the Local Government chairman for Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, LGA in Lagos State was thrown into mourning today Monday 4th February 2019 with the announcement of the death of Comrade Erikhe popularly known as EFE who was until his demise, the Chief Press Secretary, CPS to the LG boss.

The news of his demise was first revealed to the public in a statement from the office of the Local Government Chairman when it wrote; “with deep sorrow and heavy heart, we sadly announce the unfortunate demise of Comrade Erikhefe ‘EFE’ ,the CPS to Amuwo Odofin LG, chairman. May his soul rest in Peace.”

Reactions however has followed this announcement with members of the community showing their shock on this development, the latest of such tribute is from CPS Conference 57 who expressed regret in announcing the death of one of their own while explaining the cause of death.

“CPS Conference 57 regret to announce the death of our member, CPS Tributes As Chief Press Secretary To Amuwo Odofin LGA Chairman Dies In Ghastly Accident, CPS Amuwo-Odofin LGA, who died immediately after a ghastly accident enroute his destination to a political rally, today February 4, 2019.” The statement reads.
Late comrade Erikhe was regarded as one with a vibrant and amiable personality.

The late CPS hosted our last meeting for last year in December 2018. He was vibrant with amiable personality.
We are still in shock and saddened with the news of his death this moment.
May the Lord grant his family and friends the fortitude to bear this loss.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin LGA, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh, the entire staff of the council and members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the community.
May the soul of the departed rest in peace .
