It was indeed an emotional moments as families of recently freed 82 Chibok girls reunited with the girls after three years in captivity.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the Federal Government had sent messages to the families in Chibok, Borno State to come to the nation’s capital, Abuja to meet with their girls.
While briefing the press, Head of Chibok Community in Abuja, Mr Hosea Tsambido disclosed that pictures of the girls were sent to Borno State for recognition.
He stated that the parents were informed to look at the pictures and those who recognise their girls should come to Abuja to reunite with them.
The newly released girls got freedom from their captive, the dreaded boko haram terrorists on May 6th and we’re transported to Abuja on May 7th. The FG has since kept them in a facility in Abuja as they are being debriefed.
