Tinubu’s Radio Continental rebrands to music station, MAX Fm
News reaching BlackBox Nigeria has it that Lagos based Radio Continental is now no longer in existence as the owners as moved to give it a whole new makeover. To this end, the Bola Tinubu owned media house has now rebranded.
This is however contrary to rumors making the rounds that the radio house was clamped down by the National Broadcasting Corporation.
BBN further gathered that the radio station will now be known as MAX FM while every content will now be converted into a full music platform. The radio station however maintains its 102.3 frequency.

In a short message obtained by BlackBox Nigeria, the was said that, “The management of Radio Continental has renamed the station in an exercise it described as re-branding. The station’s new name will now be MAX FM from tomorrow, which will be a wholly music-driven platform. As such, all political programmes have been halted and are to be replaced with music programmes.”
The rebranding effort will be launched tonight at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
