President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigeria’s international partners to intensify their support for the country’s long-running war against terrorism, declaring that his administration will not retreat in its mission to eradicate violent extremism.

In a statement on Friday, the President assured both Nigerians and the global community that the nation remains resolute in confronting its security challenges while defending its interests on the world stage.

“We face challenges head-on… We are confidently asserting our presence on the global stage, guided by calm, clarity and purpose,” Tinubu said.

The President emphasized that terrorism which has destabilized parts of Nigeria for nearly 20 years will be crushed through sustained military pressure, strategic diplomacy, and stronger global cooperation.

“We will decisively defeat terrorism and claim victory in this battle. Security is non-negotiable,” he declared.

Tinubu stressed that his administration’s counterterrorism strategy is anchored on courage and strict adherence to the rule of law, reaffirming that no criminal network or violent group will be spared.

He also called on friendly nations to expand collaboration, including intelligence sharing, training support, and logistical assistance, noting that Nigeria has made “significant progress” in the past two years.

“We urge our allies to stand firmly with us as we amplify our fight… We will spare no effort and leave no stone unturned,” he added.

The President praised the nation’s armed forces and intelligence operatives for their bravery and sacrifices in safeguarding Nigeria’s sovereignty.

“Your commitment is our strength in the fight against terror,” he said in tribute to security personnel.

Tinubu further reassured citizens that the Federal Government will continue strengthening reforms aimed at delivering inclusive economic growth while restoring peace nationwide.

Describing Nigeria as “one united family,” he emphasized collective resilience and the nation’s refusal to succumb to fear:

“Our future is far stronger than any fears we may have.”

With renewed appeals for international solidarity, Tinubu concluded confidently:

“With courage and the rule of law, we will triumph.”
