Nigerian TikTok star and livestreamer Peller, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, narrowly escaped a fire outbreak at his Lagos residence on the morning of Saturday, February 21, 2026, after a blaze started around his home generator.
The content creator shared a frightening video of the incident on his Instagram page, showing flames engulfing the generator in the early hours of the weekend.
In the footage, Peller visibly alarmed called for help as neighbours and friends rushed to assist with buckets of water to contain the growing fire.
According to reports, the fire lasted for more than 30 minutes before it was finally extinguished. While the generator was completely destroyed, the blaze did not spread to the house, and all occupants emerged unhurt, prompting an outpouring of relief and prayers from his followers online.
In his social media updates, Peller expressed deep gratitude to God and those who helped control the fire, describing the experience as frightening but ultimately averted through quick action.
The exact cause of the blaze has not been independently verified, but initial indications point to the generator catching fire.
Fans and well-wishers reacted to the viral clips with messages of support, underscoring relief that the influencer and others in the home were safe despite the close call.
Peller, who has millions of followers on TikTok and other platforms, has been in the spotlight before, including when he survived a widely shared livestream incident on the Lekki–Epe Expressway last year that drew widespread attention.
