“This is so Unprofessional”, Mixed Reactions As Minister Prostrates Before President Tinubu After Swearing-In

The newly sworn-in Minister of Steel Development, Shuaibu Audu, caught the attention of many during a recent event.

A mild twist unfolded when Minister Audu, having just taken his oath of office, chose to prostrate himself before President Tinubu. 

The traditional gesture of respect was followed by a handshake and a photograph as per protocol. 

The audience at the event, including President Tinubu himself, responded with smiles and laughter.

Before his role as a Minister, Shuaibu Audu had been a gubernatorial aspirant in Kogi State under the All Progressives Congress (APC) banner. 

The viral clip of this cultural exchange sparked mixed reactions on social media.

While some critics labeled the act as unprofessional, others defended it as a sign of cultural respect.
