Fast-rising singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems; Nollywood poster girl, Bimbo Ademoye and film producer, Kayode Kasum were among the big winners of the night at the 16th edition of The Future Awards Africa.
The trio was joined by 20 other brilliant young people who have challenged the status quo in their respective spheres of influence and have worked to build lifelong legacies that will transform generations for years to come.
The colourful TFAA ceremony took place on Sunday night at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos.
Although Tems was not present at the presentation, the award was received by one of her representatives at the event.
The 26-year-old singer beat the likes of Ayra Starr, Joeboy, Fireboy and Buju to clinch the music award category.
