Nigerian singer, Tems has broken another record as she becomes the second most-streamed African female artist on the music streaming site, Spotify.
According to Hot-New-Afrobeats, the ‘Try Me’ crooner surpasses Yemi Alade, and in close competition with African Bad Gal, Tiwa Savage, who is the most streamed female artist on the site.
Meanwhile, Tems has been on a winning roll lately. She recently knocked Wizkid from his spot as the African artist with the most monthly listeners on Spotify. Her second EP, If Orange Was A Place was released weeks ago.
She gained more global recognition after Canadian superstar, Drake engaged her for “Fountains,” a slow-burning track on his recent album, Certified Lover Boy.
