Evans the Kidnapper has revealed that he never contacted any lawyer of sort to file a case against the Police authority in Lagos for arresting and detaining him.
In an interview with Channels Television on Sunday from the Police detention, Evans disclosed that the move was from people who wanted him in more trouble.
He also disclosed that he would rather remain in Police custody than go home because all his victims will be waiting to kill him.
Evans Drags IGP, Three Others To Court Over Detention
He said, “I have no hand in any case filed against the police and I did not speak with any lawyer or my father to file a case on my behalf. All I will say is that they should temper justice with mercy.”
It will be recalled that one Lagos based lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje last week filed a two count charge against the Inspector General of Police and two others on behalf of the notorious serial kidnapper.
He file the case at the Federal High Court in Lagos stating that his client, Evans, should either be charged to Court or released in the absence of chargeable offence.
