By Surprise! OAU Student Uses Funke Akindele’s ‘Jenifa Grammar’ As Final Year Project
A graduating student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Olosunde Aderonke Oyindamola of the Department of Linguistics and African Language, Faculty of Arts has used Funke Akindele’s Jenifa grammar in her final year project.
The graduant adopted Scene One Productions’ popular sitcom, Jennifa’s Diary as her final year project thesis in what has been described as ingenious and spectacular.
The student who did ‘A Linguistic Analysis of Jenifa’s English In ‘Jenifa’s Diary’ did so in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the award of Bachelor of At (B. A Hons) Degree in Linguistics.
