The Nigerian national team, Super Eagles have landed in Guinea Bissau ahead of the second leg of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers against Guinea Bissau, on Monday.
The Super Eagles shared a reel via their Instagram page on Sunday, where they were seen heading down from their plane.
“We have landed in Bissau,” they captioned.
However, Nigerian fans did not seem excited over the news as they expressed that the Super Eagles should win the match first before posting.
This reaction is due to the disappointment in the first leg of the match played with the Wild Dogs where the Super Eagles lost in their backyard to Guinea Bissau’s team.
The Super Eagles have, however, appealed to Nigerians for a second chance and promised to redeem themselves in the second leg of the game.
Nigeria ranks second with six points in three games behind Guinea-Bissau, who are top of Group A with seven points.
Sierra Leone and Sao Tome Principe are third and fourth in the group with two and one points in three games, respectively.
