Sunday Dare, Tallen, Gafaar cheer Falcons to victory in Lagos
The Agege Township stadium in Lagos was filled with excitement yesterday as the Super Falcons defeated the Algerian female side to cruise into the third round of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifiers.

A superb goal by whizkid, Asisat Oshoala in the second half gave Nigeria the lone goal win which brought the tally to 3-0 on aggregate after earlier thrashing Algeria 2-0 in Bilda.
The ladies were cheered to victory by an array of top government officials and administrators led by the newly sworn in Minister for Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare who was supported by his Women Affairs counterpart, Pauline Tallen.
The Lagos delegation was led by the Director General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Toyin Gafaar ‘Bolowotan’ who came in with over 100 kids currently admitted to the ongoing Lagos State Sports Summer Camp.
The anxious kids BlackBox Nigeria observed couldn’t hide their excitement as they later met up with the goal scorer, Oshoala at the end of the game.
