Stop Portraying Torture As A Means Of Police Investigation In Movies, Yomi Fabiyi Tells Movie Makers

 

Nollywood actor and director, Yomi Fabiyi, has appealed to movie directors and screen play artists to stop portraying torture and brutality, particularly the use of hot pressing irons, rods on criminals, as a means of police investigation in movies, except that such acts will be punished subsequently in the movie plots.

He stated this via his Twitter handle, @yomifabiyi. “Filmmaking has a huge role in society,” the tweet partly reads.

Fabiyi is a notable actor, producer and director who has been in the Nollywood movie industry for over a decade. To his credit, he has produced several award-winning movies.
