By A 13-year-old boy, Ovey Friday, has lost his hands after his stepmother took him to a native doctor who heaped coals of fire on his tied hands.
Ovey’s stepmother claimed he was a wizard and has been making love to her in her dreams.
However, the 13-year-old victim denied the allegations leveled by his stepmother.
The suspect stated that she needed the victim to confess and also wanted to get the spirit out him that was what prompted her to take him to her native doctor in Wulko, Nasarawa state.
The incident led to the permanent deformity of Ovey’s right hand while his left hand was amputated at an Abuja hospital.
According to the spokesperson of the Nasarawa state Ministry of Youths, Eche Amos, the suspects have been arrested by the police and will soon be charged to court for “culpable homicide”.
Blackbox Nigeria learnt that Ovey’s biological mother is late while is father, Friday Dio, a bike rider in Lagos, is yet to surface since the incident happened.
