SS 3 Student Stabs Father’s Friend To Death For Trying To Rape Her

A 16-Year-old girl identified as Timilehin Taiwo has reportedly stabbed one Babatunde Ishola who tried to rape her to death.

Narrating what transpired between her and the deceased said to be father’s friend, she revealed that the unfortunate incident happened while he was trying to rape her in his abode, in Aboru, area of Alimosho Local Government, a suburb of Lagos State Southwest Nigeria.

The incident which happened on Saturday,
March 7,2020 at about 3 pm. BlackBox Nigeria gathered was reported at Agbado-Oke Odo Police Divisional headquarters.

A source at the Police Station said information about the incident was received that a 16-year-old girl had stabbed a man of 49 years old.

“We received an information that one Babatunde Ishola ‘m’ 49 years old, a security guard in a school at Aboru, was stabbed to death by one Timilehin Taiwo ‘f’ 16 years of No.10, Olalemide Street, Aboru, an SS3 student. Homicide detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer, Oke Odo visited the crime scene at Ogundele Street, Aboru, where the corpse of the man was found lying in his pool of blood. The corpse was evacuated to hospital for post mortem cross-examination. The suspect was arrested and the knife she used in perpetrating the act recovered.”

In her statement, the suspect said, the deceased person, who is her father’s friend, invited her to his house to assist him in fetching water, as he lives in the house alone. She notes that she has always been helping him with the house chores.

She stated further that while she was helping out with the water, on that faithful day, he attempted raping her. In the process of trying to protect herself, she had picked a knife from the room and stabbed him.

The suspect was taken to the hospital for medical and forensic cross-examination. The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba for discreet investigation
