By Spiritual! Lagos Police Arrest Masquerades Robbing Residents In Agege
Officers of the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday arrested masquerades and their handlers working for them after they were reported to be using the regalia to steal from residents and passerby. This incident was reported to have happened at Elere area of Agege, Lagos State.
In the video now making rounds online, Commissioner of Police, Edgar Imohimi addressed the crowd that gathered that the Divisional Police Officer of the Station nearby apprehended the masquerades after they were reported to be causing breach of peace.
He also revealed that the residents disclosed that the tradition in the community never permitted the masquerade to parade, but the regalia was used by some miscreants who were arrested after the Police were briefed about the development.

Arrested alongside the two masquerades were three handlers who were arguing with the Police boss that they never committed any crime.
