By Some Special operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have killed Vampire, the leader of a dreaded kidnap group in the southern region after a gun battle which left four others with bullet wounds.
The gun battle which happened around 1am earlier this morning ensued when the operatives invaded the hide out of the kidnap syndicate.
Vampire, real name Henry Chibueze was on January 27th rescued from the Owerri High Court by his fellow gang members when he was to be presented before a Judge having been arrested sometimes in 2015.
The rescue mission killed about 5 persons that were present at the Court House as Vampire was successfully whisked away.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the operatives were members of the Inspector-General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team. The team was led by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari (a re known crime burster/super cop)
The team traced the kidnap syndicate to their hide out situated at Omu-Awa Forest, Ikwerre LGA, Rivers State.
Vampire was reportedly killed during the gun battle just as an officer of the team sustained bullet injuries along with three other members of the kidnappers. The Police Force is yet to release pictures of the dead Vampire as at the time of filing this report.
