By Speaker, Gbajabiamila Set To Reconvene House Over Xenophobic Attacks
The Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila has announced the possible reconvening of the lower chamber of the National Assembly following the incessant killings of Nigerians in South Africa.
According to a tweet by a Media Aide of the lawmaker, Hon Femi who is presently in Tanzania for the 50th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference will arrive Abuja today and call short the recess of his fellow lawmakers so as to address the xenophobic attacks in major cities of South Africa which have affected a handful of Nigerians.
