Slumped NDDC’s MD, Pondei Will Not Appear Again Before The Panel – Lawmakers Reveals
The House of Representatives have disclosed that the slumped Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Daniel Pondei will not be appearing before the panel probing the activities of the Commission.
It will be recalled that Pondei while fielding questions from the House Committee on NDDC slumped and fainted twice and was unable to complete his session before Minister of Niger Delta, Senator Godswill Akpabio appeared before the panel.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the reason Pondei may not be appearing the panel again is due to the fact that the public hearing is coming to an end today, Monday, July 20th as other investigations will be done behind closed doors.
The supervising Chairman of the House Committee on NDDC Hon Ereyitomi finalised that Senator Akpabio did lie on oath and also failed to sign the oath which he said he purposely did and the Committee will complete its report and submit it on the floor of the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
