Nigerian musician, Gabriel Oche Amanyi professionally known as Terry G, has announced his retirement from music.
Terry G recently called out his colleagues in the industry for ignoring him.
The 37-year-old singer announced his decision to quit music in a video shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, saying it’s for personal reasons.
“I’m about to say a big thank you to all my fans who have support me all the years back to back. It was an amazing years having you with me back to back,” the musician said.
“I know it’s going to hurt you but I’m about to say that I’m quitting music for reasons known to me”.
Terry G is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record executive. He is widely known for his bell sound, controversial lyrics and awkward identity. He has been described by as one of the world’s weirdest singers in Nigeria.
