A Nigerian singer popularly known as Sabi, famed for his song ‘Show Your Style’, has been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Lagos State.
Sabi, whose real name is Sabinus Chukwuebuka Nelson, was reportedly attacked on Tuesday night at a hotel where he was staying.
According to multiple reports, armed assailants stormed the premises and opened fire, killing the artist on the spot.
Details of the incident remain sketchy, with authorities yet to release an official statement on the circumstances surrounding the killing or possible suspects.
According to Daily Sun, the singer’s younger brother, identified as Kingsley, confirmed the incident, noting that the attack occurred suddenly and without warning.
Sabi had gained recognition in Nigeria’s music scene with his hit track Show Your Style, which enjoyed popularity among street music fans.
His death has since sparked reactions across social media, with fans and industry figures expressing shock and mourning the loss of the rising artist.
