Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the unfortunate death of fast-rising actress, Chinedu Bernard, popularly known as Choco.
The PUNCH reported that the movie star slumped while cleaning a Catholic Church in the Federal Housing area of Enugu State.
The priest identified as Reverend Father Uchendu Chukwuma, and some parishioners, immediately rushed her to East Side Hospital where she was confirmed dead by the doctors.
Her remains have since been deposited in the morgue. However, the actual cause of her death is yet to be disclosed at the time of filing this report.
Until her tragic death, Bernard had a successful career in the Nigerian movie scene, playing major and minor roles in several movies such as ‘Money Fever”, ‘The Big Mama’s Stick’, ‘The Last Manhood’, ‘Mad Love’, among others.
