He succeeds Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who leaves office today, Monday, May 29.
The Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, administered the oath of office to the Vice President at 10:30 am.
The event was attended by several heads of state and other dignitaries.
