By With the 2022 Ramadan fast approaching, Muslim faithfuls in Ikorodu Division under Lagos East may have a rehabilitated prayer ground to observe this year’s Eid al-Fitr as the Senator representing the Senatorial District, SenatorMukhail Adetokunbo Abiru has set machinery in place to give the Eid ground a facelift.
According to information reaching BlackBox Nigeria, Senator Abiru who recently was turbaned as the Ekerin Adinni of Ikorodu Central Mosque by the Grand Chief Imam of Ikorodu Division, Alhaji Sefiudeen Olowo-Oribi, is committed to ensuring that the Ikorodu Central Mosque Eid Praying Ground located on 35-33 Oke-Ota Ona, Ikorodu wears a new look before the end of the Ramadan fast.
The rehabilitation and upgrading of the Ikorodu Division Eid Prayer ground, BlackBox Nigeria gathered is a personal project of Senator Tokunbo Abiru.
In the sign post erected at the Eid ground, the rehabilitation work is being carried out by Precious Kornerstone Engineering Limited and being supervised by Rojo Construction Company.
The office of the Chief Imam of Ikorodu was sighted at the client with Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru as Sponsor.
When completed, the eid ground would be transformed from its current bare sand to interlocked floor with a large ablution area and raised section for the Imam.
