Senator Abiru Mourns Hon. Hakeem Akojo , Says He Will Be Sorely Missed

The Lagos-East senatorial representative, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, yesterday Monday mourned the passing on of Hon. Abdul Hakeem Akojo, the Captain of the Tokunbo Abiru Constituency ( TACT) in charge of the Epe Local Government Area.

The Senator, who referred to the late Hon. Akojo as “an unwavering progressive at the grassroots”, said he will be sorely missed in the progressive politics of Epe LGA and Lagos East at large, considering the role he played before, during and after the December 5, 2020 Bye-elections in Lagos-East.

“Hon. Akojo’s sudden passage, no doubt, is a great loss to the entire progressive family in Lagos State, especially in Epe LGA and Lagos East at large. However, we cannot question the decision of Almighty Allah, who decided to call him home at the early hours of yesterday Monday.

“On behalf of Lagos East APC, I sympathise with the entire family of our departed captain; the Chairman of Epe LGA, Hon. Adesanya Adedoyin; APC leaders in Epe LGA; leaders of Lagos East APC Caucus and Lagos APC at large.

“While we submit to the will of Almighty Allah in entirety, I pray God will comfort the family, friends and political associates of the departed soul and grant them fortitude to bear the passage of their beloved one.” the senator said.
