Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions, has been conferred with the prestigious Fellowship of the Capital Market Academics of Nigeria (CMAN).
The ceremony, held on Monday, celebrated his pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s financial landscape and his dedication to fostering progressive policies for the country’s capital market.
The award further solidifies Senator Abiru’s reputation as a thought leader in financial innovation. Recently, he chaired the induction ceremony of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) in Abuja, where he highlighted the game-changing potential of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and big data in revolutionizing the real estate sector.
In his acceptance speech, Senator Abiru acknowledged the honor as a reinforcement of his commitment to driving impactful legislative reforms that promote financial literacy and economic sustainability.
