Communities across Imota, Ikorodu West and Ikorodu North Local Council Development Areas have lauded Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru for delivering new classroom blocks to five public schools in Ikorodu Division of Lagos East Senatorial District.

The beneficiary schools are UNA Primary School, Igbalu (Imota LCDA); Anglican Primary School, Isawo; Ipakodo Senior Grammar School; Local Government Primary School, Ipakodo; and Farm Settlement Primary School, Odogunyan.

The projects were commissioned on behalf of the senator by the council chairmen: Ameen Apanishile (Ikorodu North LCDA), Sulaimon Kazeem (Ikorodu West LCDA) and Sunday Benson (Imota LCDA) who praised Abiru for addressing growing educational needs and strengthening public school infrastructure in the district.

Represented by his Special Adviser on Constituency Matters, Dr. Saheed Oladapo Ibikunle, Senator Abiru reaffirmed his commitment to delivering impactful projects to the largest number of constituents. He noted that the classroom blocks form part of broader interventions across Lagos East and assured residents that more projects are underway.

Abiru also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing funding support for the projects and acknowledged Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s efforts in improving learning outcomes in Lagos State.

Education Secretary of the Ikorodu LGEA, Hon. Taiwo Odumbo, described the senator’s performance as outstanding, while head teachers, parents, pupils and community groups expressed gratitude, saying the new facilities would enhance learning conditions and boost academic performance.
