By Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, the senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has felicitated with Honourable Babajimi Benson, member of House of Representatives and Chairman House Committee on Defence on the occasion of his 49th birthday.
Abiru described the lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber as “suave, urbane, innovative and highly creative”.
“Hon JB’s penchant and knack for excellence which was the hallmark of his private career as a lawyer is reflected in his legislative business as a Federal lawmaker,” the senator said.
He acknowledged Benson’s selfless interventions to the people of Ikorodu Division through “highly impactful programmes” such as the iCARE Foodbank, for indigent elderly, widows and other vulnerable people in the community, Job Portal for unemployed youths, Start-up incubation for budding techpreneurs, and Renovate-A-School Project.
Abiru equally congratulated the lawmaker on the “successful completion and commissioning of school buildings, roads and other infrastructural projects” he attracted to the community.
