Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, who represents Lagos East Senatorial District, has extended Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims across his constituency, Nigeria, and the wider global Muslim community.

In a goodwill message released on Thursday, Abiru congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, describing the holy month as a period marked by spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewal.

He thanked Almighty Allah for granting adherents the strength to observe fasting, prayers, and acts of charity, noting that Ramadan promotes enduring values such as compassion, discipline, unity, and generosity.

The lawmaker urged Muslims to uphold these virtues beyond the fasting period by fostering peace, tolerance, and mutual respect within their communities.

According to him, these principles are vital for achieving a more harmonious and prosperous society.

Abiru also called on Nigerians to use the festive occasion to offer prayers for the country and its leadership, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, seeking divine guidance, peace, stability, and national progress.

He further expressed hope that the Eid celebration would bring joy to families, strengthen unity among citizens, and usher in renewed hope, prosperity, and good health for all.
