Sen. Tokunbo Abiru Facilites 3.6km Road Across Lagos East, Promises More

Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, has facilitated the construction and rehabilitation of several critical roads in the district, aimed at improving accessibility and quality of life for constituents, commuters, and motorists.

In addition to the ongoing 32-kilometer Ikorodu-Itokin Road reconstruction, Senator Abiru has also facilitated the construction of 1.2-kilometer Dagbolu Road at Majidun, 1.2-kilometer Agunfoye Road in Igbogbo, and 1.2-kilometer Ojokoro Road around the Agric area of Ikorodu West LCDA.

Other roads currently under construction include Ibu-Owo and Jalajugbo Roads.

The senator has also announced plans to construct and rehabilitate Apena Jimbo, Nurudeen Owolabi, and GRA 2 roads.

The completion of these roads is expected to significantly ease transportation challenges, reduce travel time, and enhance economic activities in the respective communities.

Residents of Ojokoro and Dagbolu communities have commended Senator Abiru for his proactive approach to infrastructural development.

They praised his efforts in facilitating schools, hospitals, ambulances, and medical supplies, electricity transformers, stadia, markets, youth centers, and his personal endowment project, SAIL Innovation Labs in Ikorodu and Ibeju-Lekki.

Senator Abiru’s commitment to addressing infrastructural deficits and ensuring sustainable development across Lagos East has been evident in his various projects and initiatives since assuming office.
