The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos State chapter, Reverend Stephen Adegbite has vowed to campaign for the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Lagos CAN Chairman spoke in Lagos on Sunday, 16 October 2022 during the presentation of the stewardship report of 12 years of sojourn in the Senate presented by the Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District in the Upper Legislative Chamber, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
He revealed that Tinubu has given tremendous support to the Christian community in Lagos and the entire southwest region.
The Reverend said that he had told his friends from the North that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the candidate they should support.
Reverend Adegbite said “God will punish us if we don’t support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as nobody can tell us not to support him because he has done more than enough to support the Body of Christ in the Southwest”, he said.
Reverend Adegbite stated that the APC Flag-bearer had also initiated a fund to sponsor Christians to Jerusalem and up till now the fund is still there and Christians are benefitting from it.
“We’re still going this year and we will pray for him,” he revealed.
However, he added that Tinubu had returned schools to owners when he was Governor and he also made provisions of funds to save the lives of children in many ministries of God.
