SEE REACTIONS OF MANCHESTER UNITED’S LEGENDS AFTER CHAMPION’S LEAGUE MIRACULOUS COME BACK
Reactions have continued to follow what one can simply call the miraculous come back as English football giant; Manchester United, netted not just once but thrice to recover from a woeful first leg performance against French giants; Paris Saint-Germain, PSG.
With the decisive goal scored by Marcus Radford, Manchester United becme the first club in European football to concede two or more goals on home ground during a first leg fixture and still qualify to the quarter finals.
As reaction to this great feat, Manchester United legends Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona joined celebrations in the Reds’ dressing room, after the epic fixture that earned the club a place in the last eight of the UEFA Champions League.
The pair were snapped with caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a legendary photo, as players and staff members rejoiced in one of the greatest comeback wins in the club’s history.
Asked about the words he shared with Sir Alex in the players’ inner sanctum post-match, Solskjaer quipped: “You don’t make chat now. It’s too noisy! Great atmosphere, of course, and it’s great to see the boss in there.”
Sir Alex and Eric were far from the only legends toasting the team’s tremendous achievement. A host of ex-players used social media to share in the elation.
