All looks set for this year’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2022) as the organizers unveil the fixtures for the tournament.
Scheduled to kickoff on January 9, 2022, the host, Cameroon will face Burkina Faso in a curtain-raiser before fellow Group A opponents, Ethiopia and Cape Verde, face off later in the day.
Having emerged as the table topper in the qualifications, Nigeria is bound to face Egypt, Sudan, and Guinea Bissau in Group D. The Super Eagles will reignite their rivalry against the Pharaohs of Egypt on January 11.
