The presentation of staff of office to the newly appointed Oba of Oniru, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal (Abisogun II) is currently ongoing at the Iru Palace, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The emergence of the new Oba of Oniru was confirmed on Thursday, June 4th after he voluntarily resigned from his position as Commissioner for Agriculture in Lagos State.
