Saudi Arabia has officially declared Sunday, March 30, as Eid Al Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan.
The announcement was made through the Kingdom’s official channel, Harranain Sherifain, which stated that the Crescent for the month of Shawwal 1446 was spotted in Saudi Arabia.
According to the statement, “The Crescent for the month of Shawwal 1446 was SEEN in Saudi Arabia today, subsequently tomorrow is the beginning of the month of Shawwal 1446.”
The sighting of the crescent moon marks the beginning of the month of Shawwal and the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting and spiritual reflection for Muslims worldwide.
