By Yet to be confirmed reports has it that the Executive Chairman of Sango LCDA, Alhaji Ebony has been arrested by operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad and whisked to Abeokuta, Ogun State for questioning.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the council boss was arrested following the confessional statement of the leader of a notorious 7 man gang arrested by the Special Police Team.
The leader of the gang simply identified as Igun (Vulture) disclosed that all their operations were being approved by Alhaji Ebony.
A source in the Sango area of Ogun State disclosed to BBN that SARS team killed four out of the 7 man gang before finally arrested others in a fiercely gun battle.
In a development, it was disclosed that attempts are however going on to silence the matter as one Alhaji Abidoye Amosun has risen to the rescue of the arrested council boss.
BBN gathered that the Abidoye Amosun popularly known as Alhaji Again is an elder brother of Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State. He was spotted at the Magbon office of the SARS making frantic efforts to set Alhaji Ebony free.
Igun, the leader of the deadly gang had in his confessional statement revealed to the SARS that Alhaji Ebony was usually demanding the hand of every of their killed victims in other to confirm if the targets were eliminated.
