How Saraki Was Sidelined At Kwara @ 50 Celebration

So Kwara State had its celebration of its 50th years since it was created without Senator Bukola Saraki in attendance. BlackBox Nigeria reliably gathered that it was not the wish of the Senate President to miss the event but he was stylishly sidelined by the State Government.

There was a call for concern when BBN learnt that the apparent Most Influential Politician in the State and former Governor could be absent at such an event marking the Golden Jubilee of the State. And not even a tweet or post on social media to acknowledge the event from his quarters.

Findings by BBN revealed that Senator Saraki was all set to attend the Grand Dinner in Ilorin on Thursday before a sudden change of arrangement by the Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed.

According to a reliable source in Abuja, Saraki had concluded plans to jet to Ilorin on Thursday after plenary session since the dinner was earlier set for 6pm only to be briefed by protocols on ground at the venue that the dinner had been shifted to 3pm, a time he was still busy with legislative duties.

It was discovered that the three hours shift in time on the day of the dinner caused the absence of the Number 3 Citizen from the celebration of Golden Jubilee of creation of his home State.
