By Sanwo-Olu’s Chief Press Secretary Resumes Duty After Defeating COVID19
The Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile on Wednesday resumed official duties weeks after contacting the deadly coronavirus.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered Akosile who was infected with the virus in early July resumed official duties on Wednesday, August 5th after been certified free of the virus.
Narrating how it all started, Akosile disclosed that it all started with mild symptoms before it got out of hand and he had to go for COVID19 test, which he disclosed he did along with his wife and personal driver. After waiting anxiously for the results for 3days, all returned positive. He added that the State Government advised that he self isolate himself and his wife as the isolation centres in the State were overwhelmed by the increased number of cases in the State, which is the epicenter of the pandemic in the country.
He further added that his wife’s condition needed additional medical attention and was moved to Onikan Isolation centre where she received treatment till she recovered.
