Sanwo-Olu Orders Civil Servants To Stay At Home Over COVID19

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered  civil servants to stay at home for a period of 2weeks, effective from Monday, March 23rd, 2020.

BlackBox Nigeria reliably gathered from a State official that the order affects civil servants from Grade Level 1 to Grade Level 12 (which consists of Lagos State Civil Service staff strength).

It was reported that the new order was as a measure taken to reduce the possible spread of corona virus just as Nigeria recorded its 24th case.

The State Government had in last few days released some guidelines aimed at curbing the spread of the virus as it first announced a ban on all public/religuous gathering of more than 50 persons then later reduced it to 20; announced closure of schools; ordered Lagos State Bus Services not to have passengers standing in their buses; and now, a stay at home order to civil servants in the State.
