Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mobolaji Ogunlende as his Special Adviser on Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations.
Ogunlende is the pioneer of Real Acts of Kindness (RAK) Development Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Badagry, Lagos.
On Thursday, Sanwo-Olu sworn in Ogunlende and Gbenga Oyerinde (Special Adviser, Central Business District) into the State Executive Council at the Exco Chambers, Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja.
The new aides were also formally presented with their letters of appointment.
It would be recalled that Ogunlende contested for the All Progressives Congress ticket for the House of Representatives seat in Badagry Federal Constituency of Lagos ahead of the 2023 polls. He, however, lost at the party’s primaries.
The businessman-turned-politician was named the ‘Young Person of the Year’ at the maiden Lagos Youth Awards held last December.
